Founded in 1982 by Michael Dulac and originally named Schola Cantorum, Schola Nova is a choral ensemble dedicated to the performance of a cappella and accompanied sacred choral music drawn from all historical periods. The group, currently numbering twenty-three singers of diverse backgrounds, provides music for liturgical occasions, as well as concerts of sacred vocal music at venues throughout the Pioneer Valley and southern New England. Schola Nova is governed by an Executive Board which is led by its Director, Terry Larsen.
