• Saturday, November 19, 2011 Chez Josef, Agawam, Mass., 2:30 p.m.
Schola Nova is pleased to be invited to perform for the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, a Catholic lay service organization whose founding members were dedicated to the Augustinian Rule of poverty and obedience and to defend the Holy Sepulchre and the Holy Places. This private performance will feature works by Eric Whitacre, Algirdas Martinaitis, Arvo Part, Gwyneth Walker, and a selection of classic spirituals.

• Saturday, December 3, 2011 Blessed Sacrament, Holyoke, Mass., 7:00 p.m.
• Sunday, December 4, 2011 Church of the Acres, Springfield, Mass., 3:00 p.m
• Sunday, January 8, 2012 Our Lady of the Valley Church, Easthampton, Mass., 2:00 p.m

Lessons & Carols: In celebration of the season, Schola Nova presents its biennial program of Lessons & Carols following the 19th Century tradition started at King's College, Cambridge. Members of the three host congregations will read scriptural lessons interspersed with carols sung by Schola Nova and the audience. The performances present six carols as arranged by the venerable David Willcocks, as well as works by Elizabeth Poston, Charles Wood, William Mathias, Peter Wishart, and others. Schola Nova is pleased to be accompanied for all three performances by organist Michael Sampson.

• Tuesday, April 3, 2012 Our Lady of the Valley Church, Easthampton, Mass., 7:00 p.m.
• Friday, April 6, 2012 St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Longmeadow, Mass., 8:00 p.m.
Tenebrae--the Passion of Christ: Schola Nova continues its tradition of performing for the penitential and meditative Holy Week Tenebrae service. Tenebrae is composed of readings and musical selections about the events during the week between Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday that led to the crucifision of Jesus. Music from this year's service will be from Gregorio Allegri's "Miserere" and "Improperia, the Reproaches on Good Friday" by Tomás Luis de Victoria. Note: this is a religious service, it is not a concert.

• Wednesday, April 12, 2012 Our Lady of the Valley Church, Easthampton, Mass., 7:00 p.m.

Schola Nova presents its 5th annual Invitational Choir Concert featuring area school choirs in the beautiful sanctuary of our home venue Our Lady of the Valley Church. This choral arts showcase highlights local talent, and will raise funds for a local charity.

• Saturday, April 21, 2012 Together in Song, Paramont Theater, Springfield, Mass.

Schola Nova and dozens of other choirs from throughout western Mass. and north central Connecticut invite you to join them for this joyful celebration of singing.
